This is described as the hips driving toward the target while the throwing hand is still in the glove. The end result is similar to the Late Hands Separation explained above. To remedy this throwing fault, with the ball in the throwing hand, the player should tap the ball into the glove as he goes into his windup and the lead hip is flexing. When the player reaches his peak moment of the windup phase, the hands should separate as the lead leg descends into the movement.
